               Elementary Ages: Sat. 1/28/23  -  9:00 - 10:15 am

               Middle School Ages: Thurs. 2/9/23  -  5:45 - 7:15 pm

               Teen Girls: Wed. 2/01/23  -  6:30 - 7:45 pm  (8th Grade & Up)

               Teen Guys:  COMING SOON !

               Adult Ladies: Mon. 1/30/23 -  7:15 - 8:30

 VOCAL CLASS DETAILS:

• Classes offered in 8 week sessions
• Beginning early February
• Cost for eight 90 min classes is $15/class (Adult Class is 2 hours @ $20/class)
• $10 materials fee -- helps cover cost of music, royalties, photocopying, etc.
• Private Studio in Yardville, NJ  (close to major highways - Rtes. 195 - 295 - 130 - 206 - NJ Turnpike)

 Group Vocal Classes work on:

• Vocal technique (proper breathing, tone production, etc.) 
• Ear training exercises for singers
• Harmony skills (older singers; younger singers learn foundations for harmony singing)
• Sight singing -- using Kodaly and Gordon Rhythm Syllables
• Experiencing music through movement & eurhythmics & games; establishing sense of rhythm
• Communicating music through creative exercises and drama
• Other singing skills that are appropriate to the group of students
• Basic percussion instruments (resonator bells, hand drums, boomwackers, etc.  are incorporated with many of the activities)

 Repertoire consists of:

 Rounds, folk songs, appropriate songs from musicals, pop/contemporary and religious songs.
